F i n a l l y , glad someone else doesn't try to silence me for disliking that g a r b a g e pairing. Truly sus, it's just a terrible pairing in general, ArielxReza is 9999999999999999999999999999999/10 superior. Hell, ArielxMAX is infinitely superior to... whatever that's supposed to be.:/

Who is Reza? I think either of us would be better matches for Ariel. I'd love a mermaid gf.
But yeah, Ariel just set her eyes on a "handsome" human, and being a lonely, human obsessed mermaid, she believed he would love her instantly. Ursula was smart to offer legs for her voice since only her voice was her only attractive feature in Eric's mind. He's clearly not a fish lover either since Eric wasn't interested in Ariel as a mermaid and was so pleased when Ariel got her legs again. Look at the surprised look on his face when Ariel transformed into a mermaid on the ship. I mean, I guess you can argue he was surprised as his love interest suddenly transformed into a fish girl, but it could also be the look of utter disgust. You decide.
God I hate Eric so much!
